提要：以蒿甲醚口服片剂，总量600mg/d×5在抗氯喹恶性疟流行区治疗恶性疟、间日疟各52例和39例，临床治愈率均达100％，退热时间、疟原虫转阴时间及近期复燃率恶性疟分别为32.6±12.8h、31.9 ±12.7  h和14.0%，间日疟分别为27.9±15.2h、33.3±10.4h和9.7%。结果显示，蒿甲醚片剂治疗恶性疟、间日疟具有与针剂同样高效、速效及不良反应少的优点。

EFFICACY OF ARTEMETHER TABLET IN TREATMENT OF FALCIPARUM AND VIVAX MALARIA

ABSTRACT：52 cases of falciparun malaria were treated with artemether tablet, a new antimalarial formulation developed in Kunming Pharmaceutical Factory, at the dosage of 100 mg/d×5(initial loading dose was doubled) in chloroquine-resistant region. The clinical cure rate was 100%,the mean defervescence time was 32.6±12.8h and the parasitemia clearance time was 31.9±12.7h. At the same time，39 cases of  vivax malaria were treated with same method. The clinical cure rate was 100%,the mean defervescence time 27.9±15.2h and parasitemia clearance time 33.3±10.4h.

The results showed that artemether tablet in the treatment of falciparum and vivax malaria had high efficacy, fasting-acting and less adverse effects as compared with artemether injection, and it may be used for treating chloroquine-resistant falciparum malaria.
